Gregg Distributors Sunshine Fund

Gregg Distributors Sunshine Fund is a children's charity we created which provides funds for various projects in our city of Edmonton, Alberta. The staff and management of Gregg Distributors work together to raise funds and awareness for local charities. Here are some of our projects:

The Edmonton Valley Zoo Sea Lions

In 2011, we donated $500,000 to the Edmonton Storyland Valley Zoo for much needed renovations to the Sea Lion exhibit. The 'Arctic Shores' exhibit opened in March of 2012 and features harbour and northern fur seals in a naturalized environment.

River Otters

In 2013, we announced another $500,000 commitment to a new River Otter Exhibit. We are hoping this commitment will kick-start much needed provincial and corporate support for other exhibits at the zoo.

The Red Panda

In 2018, we’ve pledged $500,000.00 to this new home for our furry critter friends, to ensure they are living in luxury in the new exhibit!

Amur tigers, called Amba and Taiga

We are so pleased to be working with the Edmonton Valley Zoo for a fourth time! In 2018, we pledged another $500,000.00 to the Valley Zoo, to help out 2 very special female Amur tigers, called Amba and Taiga. These Siberian tigers are now 10 years old and growing. They’re like sisters — sometimes they just don’t get along!
